I went to the "pasar borong" this morning, I couldnt even remember the last time I went there, it had been more than 3 years i guess. Well, my parents and I had breakfast there, the roti canai was fluffy and the dal and sambal was just mouth watering. Then we went to the actual pasar, we bought some fishes and siput sedut. Since I never really paid attention to what kind of fish exist in that pasar, so my dad showed me all the different types of fishes and their names. I learned something today :)
Then we head home, prepared lunch together with what we bought before and had a really simple yet delicious lunch with my family at home.
While we were just relaxing at home, and I was just surfing the net, suddenly i felt something, the ground was shaking and i felt slightly dizzy, at first i thought it was just me, but it lasted for about a minute, then it hit me, it's a mini earthquake, i thought. To just double check it, i went to the jar of water and saw it moving. Then in Twitter, everyone started to talk about it. What really happened was an 8.9 magnitude of earthquake was initially reported, but soon it was revised down to 8.6 and a few hours later there was a major aftershock measuring to 8.2 which lasted for 4 mins. (source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-17675399 ) Okay, so what i felt just now was just the tremor of the shockwave.. but still, i didnt like the feeling. I'm not too sure of the actual number, but thousands has been reported missing and families have to face the terror of loosing their loved ones again after the big tsunami which happened in 2004, so lets pray for the victims... This really reminds me and i hope it's a reminder for everyone to always appreciate and treasure the people you love dearly..
